1970 – MCM Company Begins

Harold G. Walker starts MCM in WaKeeney, Kansas manufacturing agricultural component parts for several farm machinery companies including Bush-Hog Salma, AL., Sunflower Mfg., Inc Beloit, KS, Flex-King Quinter, KS., M&W Gear Company, Gibson City, IL., Baker Mfg., Alva, OK, and CrustBuster Dodge City, KS

1979 - MCM sells to Galen Olson

• Olson expands MCM in to oil field industry.

1983 - MCM sells to Jim Funk & Bob Funk (Not Related)

• Agriculture and oil industry products weaken and we develop the Dirt King Scooter.

1985 MCM starts developing the Dirt King Trike.

• Rewording a few words from Henry Ford we would build the Dirt King any color you want as long as it was Red.

1987 MCM starts offering other colors for the Dirt King Trike.

• MCM adds new colors for the Dirt King including blue, green and pink.

1990 MCM introduces the MCM ActiLift

• MCM starts producing and selling a Vertical Platform lift to make building wheelchair accessible. They were used primarily small business locations and churches.

1994 MCM goes online with the Dirt King

• MCM launches www.mcm-ks.com website.

1996 MCM adds new Dirt King models

• MCM develops Dually Dirt King and Adult Dually Dirt King.

1998 MCM introduces the SpinAbout

• The SpinAbout three wheel trike is developed for party rental companies and campgrounds

2000 MCM attends IAAPA in Atlanta

• MCM attends the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions displaying the Dirt King family of trikes.

2009 MCM sells to Senne Company

• MCM sells to Senne Company in Topeka, Kansas looking to expand their operation. Jim & Bob Funk remain with the new corporation as stockholder and consultants. The new company has been renamed MCM Manufacturing, Inc.
